Opportunistic Infection
Opportunistic Infection is a type of infection which can be caused by micro - organisms - pathogens - like the bacteria or fungus or protozoa or viruses which are present in the body but only infects the human body when the fighting ability of the body by virtue of its Immune System is compromised.

When the Immune System becomes weakened, the micro - organism gets an "Opportunity" to infect the host body and thus the body suffers.
