People of today are more health conscious. We can maintain good helth by following simple Yoga Aasanas and Pranayams.
Since time immemorial, the importance of ‘Yoga’ has been accepted as an effective way to maintain good health and enjoy longer life. The secrets of the extra-ordinary powers possessed by the saints and ‘yogis’ in olden days lay in their perfection in the art of ‘Yoga’.
Yoga originated in India. Maharshi (Sage) Patanjali, through his famous book, ‘Patanjali Yoga Sutras’, tried to preach the knowledge of Yogasan and Pranayam among the people for the welfare of mankind. Even in ancient times, in order to know, spread and to obtain the miraculous benefits out of it, the Yogis used to spread this knowledge by conducting Yoga Camps etc. and till today, they are doing the same.
Today, people all over the world practice Yogasan and Pranayam in order to get rid of various incurable diseases. However, it is nothing but a small fraction of the numerous benefits Yogasan and Pranayam can offer. In fact, the benefits they can provide are numerous and cannot be described in such a small article. We can only say that if we adopt Yogasan and Pranayam as a part of our lives, no disease can even touch us.
The youth of today are lingering about the gymnasiums trying to build their bodies. But gymnasiums can only build our bodies from outside whereas Yogasan and Pranayam can not only make our inner parts stronger they also produce the glow of health in our outer bodies.
Though most people know and sincerely believe that they can get rid of many incurable diseases through Yogasan and Pranayam, they are confused about from where to start. It would be my endeavour to post from time to time some common and easy Yogasan and Pranayam methods that would definitely help us keeping away many diseases and build our mind and body stronger.
