Hepar Sulphuricum - A Homoeopathic medicine for Abscesses
As a boil grows bigger, the pus which forms inside the abscess and starts decomposing further which gives the characteristic foul smell to the boil. But, In some types of boils, like that of the Lymphatic and phlegmatic abscesses, the pus gets retained in the boil for a longer duration and thus this gives rise in the tenderness and sensitiveness of the boil. Patient gets tremendous pain and ague for which the Homeopathic Medicine,
Hepar Sulphuricum
commonly known as Hepar Sulph, comes handy. A person with kinds of Boils gets chilly sensations along with throobing in the parts with the boil and and many a times the pain becomes worse and becomes pricking type of pain and sometimes sharp and sticking snd sometimes threatening excessive suppuration.
Hepar Sulph when given in Low Potencies, will favor the pus formation and if given in Higher potencies, will favor aborting of the pus formation process.
Abscesses of the type Felon or Whitlow are very nicely healed by Hepar Sulphuricum.
Hepar Sulph has been considered useful for those types of Abscesses in which pus continues to form continuously and is not stopped by any kind of medicines.
