1. Child works hard to breathe because of the difficulty in breathing and the breath rate is fast.

2. The skin of the child takes up a bluish tinge changing from light blue to dark blue which is known as Cyanosis.

3. Child has no desire to drink any fluid

4. Child does not wake up on calling or moving the child and does not have any interacting activity

5. The child becomes very irritable and does not want to be taken hold of or be carried

6. Symptoms show intermittent improvement followed by worsening of health.

7. Rashes over the body along with fever

8. Child has no satiety and appetite diminished

9. Child cries but no tears.
