The appointments are on fixed term on contract basis initially for two years.
Duty station is Geneva, Switzerland.

Desirous candidates required to apply through online on or before 31.01.2011.
Qualification requirement :
Undergraduate degree in related subject and postgraduate degree in either of, or combination of, medicine, public health, economics, relevant social science, business management or public administration.
Experience:
At least 10 years experience at a senior level in management and strategic planning, including performance-based monitoring and evaluation in an international setting. Experience in progressively responsible managerial positions at the international level including substantial experience in human and financial resources management and decision making responsibilities for both technical and administrative aspects. Substantial experience in public health in developing countries;Proven experience in providing leadership in a complex environment, ideally in the context of multi-partner programmes and in developing partnerships with multiple stakeholders. Experience in resource mobilization and communication.
Desirable :
Experience or knowledge in working with markets for health commodities and/or access to medicines, procurement, supply chain management and intellectual property issues. Experience in both the public and private sectors ideal. Experience in managing complex health projects in low and lower middle income countries.
