2011 Recruitment at Pan American Health Organization under World Health Organization
The appointments are on fixed term on contract basis initially for two years.
Duty station is Vientiane Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Desirous candidates required to apply through online on or before 03.02.2011.
Qualification requirement :
University degree in Veterinary Medicine with advanced university degree in public health, epidemiology or communicable diseases is essential.
Additional training or research in policy /programme formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation is desirable.
Experience:
Minimum of seven years' experience in developing and implementing communicable disease control activities, including veterinary medicine with particular reference to communicable diseases which are transmissible and pathogenic to man, including experience at international level is essential.
Experience in working with WHO, UN agencies or other non governmental organizations in a developing country context and work experience in Asia is an advantage.
