2 minutes walk a day keeps the doctor away

Apples are great, but walking is also superb. In the daily busy lives of today, long hours of commuting, we literally are moving from vehicle to vehicle to commute and then spend 9 hours on the chair in the office every day. Time is getting squeezed and we are finding it less and less to do a dedicated walk for our health.

Although it has a gradual degrading effect on to our physical bodies, it can still be tackled easily and almost at any age of life. Just take out those 2 to 5 minutes every day. Make it a personal goal that you do take a walk. It can be at any time of the day. It can either be in the office or outside the office. Anywhere! But 2 minutes of walk helps to improve the overall health to a good extent in the long run, definitely!

People think that a walk of one hour covering 4-5 km is the real walk for maintaining our health. For the hard cored exercise lovers that could be true to some extent but many people cannot undertake such long walks. The main reason is that they are not habitual of walking like that and another reason is that they would not be prepared to walk on the first day itself so much. Now in this context the 2 minutes walk can be a good beginning and once this small mini walk is achieved one can slowly increase one's stamina and go for longer walks. It is said that a long journey starts with a small step and that holds good in this case also. It is definitely a good ideas to start that small walk now and then aim for the longer walks.
