Nasal bleeding is known as Epistaxis.
Causes:
1.Might be heriditary
2.Due to injury at nose
3.Nasal polyps, granulomatous growth, ulceration of mucus membrane
4.Parasitic infection of nasal passage
Treatment
1.Cold water or ice packs should be held on nasal cavity
2.A few drops of dilute epinephrine (1:50,000) may be into nasal canal
3.Vitamin K and calcium therapy
