Snacks are essentially Fast food and fast food are highly in their Cholesterol levels, Triglyceride levels, fat content, salt, sugar and oil content.

These factors are the basic ones which increase fat content at ease and in a very quick manner and thus help in increasing body fat content.

Another disadvantageous factor of the snacks if taken in excessive quantity, are when they are taken in excess. On account of their having a real good taste, many people avoid full course food and eat snacks in large quantity to suffice the hunger and to give the tinge to the taste buds.

But this overall, increases the fat content in the body which is more of a Low Density Lipoprotein and Very Low Potency Lipoprotein type (On the basis of the fat content in the snack) which is not of good quality.
