Any food which contains non eatable items which may be added accidentally or on purpose and thus which may cause troubles to a person who eats such an adulterated food is termed as Food Poisoning.

Food Poisoning can be prevented at multiple levels.
1. Food should be prepared only by those who can prepare the food correctly.
2. Food should not be kept stale and decayed food should be immediately discarded. If you feel bad for discarding food then you can serve it to animals as they can digest such foods easily. (Imagine a Pig :))
3. Ensure proper storage of food quality and storage.
4. Milk should be always boiled and then cooled. In such manner, the milk can be stored well for a week's time.
